All Volunteers must make themselves available for an Orientation (2hrs) prior to event & Final Venue walk-through (2hrs) in the week leading up to the event.
Perks: Sweet volunteer t-shirt, free admission (both days plus food!), and hanging out with an amazing group of people who are passionate about WordPress!
Volunteer Roles include:
- Greeting Attendees at the entrance and front-table, checking them in, handing out badges, etc…..Estimated Time Commitment: 3hrs in the am each day
- Handing Out T-shirts & Swag…..Estimated Time Commitment: 3hrs in the am each day
- Enrolling Attendees that have not pre-registered…..Estimated Time Commitment: 3hrs in the am each day
- Directing Attendees throughout the venue for lunch, between sessions, to the bathrooms, etc…..Estimated Time Commitment: *3hrs in the am each day
- Room Running to make sure the Speakers have everything they need (water, cables, etc.). This role also includes doing time checks for the Speakers so they know when the end of their session is drawing near and starting/stopping the video recorders…..Estimated Time Commitment: *3hrs in the am each day
- Speaker Dinner Volunteers to greet and hand out gifts…..Estimated Time Commitment: 3hrs Friday Evening, Light Duty
Miscellaneous: Hey sometimes we just need an extra set of hands to delegate to! If you like mystery, excitement, and the opportunity to run around a beautiful building like a super hero with a smile fixed to your face while helping people, well you can do that too!
